Is there a way to control the printer by the RIP PC?

I want to control the printer and it's displays remotely. So i need the display and it's controls on my RIP instead of the printer. Is there any way?
(I can controle the RIP from home by VNC)

i'm not aware that you can get the printer display information onto your pc, in a similar way to a desktop driver. i think this may be down to the scsi connection.
if you find a way, please let me know.
