which INK?

Hi,

Are you still printing with the 64s?. Mine still going. I'm finding it difficult to get original inks. There are many companies that produce compatable ink for the printer without flushing the ink etc... but dont know if I continue using the original inks or should go for 3rd party inks. Can anyone suggest if I should go for a compatable cartridge, and may be bit more info where to get it from? I live in Malta.

Thanks

this was also the golder question: cheaper 3rd party ink so the more expensive genuine inks?

of course price must make a difference, but the 3rd party inks that i have seen in machines do not offer the colour or consistancy of the seiko inks. also the quality control of the production makes each batch slightly different, making colour matching a real task.

here's the question i gave my suppliers. do you offer a head warranty with you 3rd party inks, and you think they are so good and do not damage the heads, warrant them!

if not, then why not?

then you have to weigh up the price difference you make back on the cheaper inks vs replacing blocked heads because of the bad ink..

i always stuck with the proper inks for piece of mind..

I use Marabu inks, works good and cheap. But you need to build an bulk system on your machine.
