A print cartridge kept reading 4% of ink remaining after replacing a burn chip in a new ink cartridge that previously got burn due to dried pump tube. Does anybody know how to fix this misread?

are you saying you've replaced the chip in the cartridge or somewhere else?
are you using 3rd party inks or genuine seiko inks?
if it's the cartridge chip on 3rd party inks, it looks like you've destroyed the chip reader on the printer..
