Exchanging Seiko Main PCB for HP mainboard?

Has anyone had experiance interchanging these boards? Do I need to update firmware? I would like to try Seiko board in the HP, only because I have an extra one and HP board is bad.

Hi, I have a Colorpainter 64S and I want to upgrade an convert to an HP 9000, it is possible?

Hello

I have a HP 9000 board you can try. You may need to replace Caridge Board as well. Cost for mainboard is $900.
