Hi All.
I hav found the following tools to be of high value when I restored
the 64s.
Naturally some are obvious, but some of these has made life nuch easier
with less clean up.
Please add to this list.
1 6" magnetic tip #2 philips head screw driver.
2 medical hemostats 1 straight one 45 deg angle
(for clamping ink lines)
A razor knife Olfa Snap blade.
1 exacto knife with #11 blade with (dull the point)
Inspection mirror
Blue Lint Free Paper towels. (home depot paint dept)
Small metal paint pail. good for cleaning parts.
Nylon Tooth Brush
tie wraps
Scisors
Acetone for ink spillage
Orange Go Jo for hands.
Most people use gloves, but my hands are large and the gloves always break on me.
4mm x 6mm Tygon Tubing,,,
Small tube of dieletric grease for the pinion rollers in the pumps
Large syringe
Squeeze bottle with90 deg spout.
