i am using vutek machines for the last 6 years , i worked on 5330, 5300, 2600, 2360,and 3360, i am facing aproblem with my 3360 that when i install 320 width material the media is well tension from the left and right but not the same in the middle wich so the jet will hit the matrial when i am printing ( i have cleaned both bail and the set the hight of the carrige, and i turn of the pre heater, and the pressure of bail or max)
my seconed problem is when i close both bais and make online the material make advance automatically fo about 50 cm and then stop , and the same thing happen when i finsh printing and i release the tension to open the bail the material make advance as if its sliding frowared but in fast way ) thx for help
Any one change you roller pressure or tension settings ?
Have someone apply pich to the front and back rollers while you look and see if they raise, pich and lower at the same rate left to right.
take 40 cm strips of the material and put them between the back pinch rollers , apply pinch. see if you can pull any of the strips out easily and notice how much force to get the material to slide out. Normally pressure should be even and they should not slide out.
repeat for front pinch,
if you have loose material in the middle then you are probably appling too much pressure and the rollers are squeezing hard on the side and the middle is opening up. tight in the middle is not enough pinch.
Check your roller guide for the back roller in the middle. Are you appling any rear pullback tension to the material ?
are your pinch rollers and takeup/feed shafts parralell ?
