Hi all, I would like to ask for a second (and a third or more) opinion on the black nozzle check image below. In anyone elses opinion would you say this is acceptable? The so called experts (who actually know stuff all) say it is within spec!?!? If this is within spec then what is out of spec? It is also starting to show the breaking up in the 100% test as well. All the other colours print clean with minimal breakup, although we do have a permanent line in the cyan that just won't go away. Thanks in advance.
Looks fine to me. Does the permanent line in the cyan just simply disapear or is there a darker line next to the white space? If there is a darker line, which I suspect there is, it is probably deflection from some gunk hanging on underneath the cariage. Lift the front lid, close it, wait for the cariage to move, open the lid again, then grab the cariage and move it to the wiping station. See if you can see anything hanging off the bottom. It's a tough reach, but you might be able to get it off reaching in the side of the wiping station.
within spec???? says who??? this is definately not good!
cause by buildup of ink residue around nozzle, hence deflected ink drops, it will only getting worst down the road, the worst part is not even "fill cap" could help you, either change head or flush head with "head cleaning kit" or do your DIY head flushing, which one you choose? this is not good, I've mine figured out.
again, it'll only getting worst, day after day, do something about it.
