Dear Friends,


Can anyone tell me that if its possible to downgrade the  firmware from version 2.10 to V2.0?


does printer supports downgrade function?


My 2nd question:


Are  the firmware's of 64s and 100s same?


I expect replies from the experts who have tired this practically. No guesses please!

very easy answer here.


seikos do not allow downgrading, so once you've gone up, there's no coming down!!


also the 64s / 100s firmwares are different, basically around the new fine draft mode on the 100s.

Why seiko not provide firmware for 100s on their website?

mark, i have been working with these printers since seiko launched them, so trust me when i say you can't, so no guess work here!!


 seiko initially didn't put the firmware on the website, as they thought it was something that a customer should not be doing. but for the last year or so you can download the 64s or ip-6600 firmware within the downloads sections. remember this is always the latest version and not the entire compilation since it's inception.
