I was wondering if any of you have experienced a problem where you are printing on wide media (60" to 64") and having the printer start printing outside the image are and lines being printed across the media of one of the inks. Cyan in my case. It is not a consistant problem but can cause me greif when printing large banners.
remove the top cover and check them from the carriage back until the disappear into the printer chassis. my guess is one of them has rubbed the plastic away and exposed the bare metal inside and it's shorting out on the chassis.
best bet is the square cut-out beside the carriage.
