Black banding

Hi Everyone,

I have problem with black banding during the print on DJ9000s,

As i can see, here is topics for Seiko64s, but is in't same printer..

Printer is old 11 month, but i can't to solve problem with black banding.

I was made all calibration PHtoPH,PHtoROW, Bi-dir...fast mode and mechanical calibration but problem is same.

All nozlle is ok, Feed is correct,
On color stripe Magenta line is not on the line, they "walking" left-right, i can't to figure, why?

In Normal Mode- banding is too worst
In High Mode- Banding is gone, banding doesn't exist.

If you have some advice for me to solve this, that be so great.

Thanks in advanced
Banding

Hi
It's like feed adj problem or problem on the motion of the media (x-motor)

G'day,

This looks a lot more like a profiling issue or coating issue on the vinyl. As in 4 pass mode it lays down twice the ink in half the time, if you haven't properly profiled for that speed, the ink will hit the vinyl and spread before getting chance to dry. this causes the dark banding seen here. I'd try creating a profile from scratch in 4pass mode, or using a media with a different coating. A possible quick fix is also to increase the temperature of your front and print heaters. More heat means a more ink receptive PVC generally.

When I see banding the first items to check are:
-Feed advance
-Running temps ( Put Simply Black lines = not enough / White lines = too much)
-Is material compatable, are you using a canned profile or custom made?
