Take-up system and banner

Is it just me, or is the Colorpainter's take-up system complete crap when it comes to banner materials? It can barely handle 20 feet of material, and even then it winds unevenly causing wrinkles. Even worse is when it fails to wind at all, and the printed material just piles up behind the drier. We've had the take-up motor replaced a couple times, and are certain it's working as it should.

i've heard of this problem. have you tried making sure theat whoever fitted the new motor has made sure that the torque is wound up as far a possible. this ensures that it can handle the heavier media such as banner.

Have your local technician torque up the rewinder. There is an adjustment your tech can do to make the rewinder very strong and able to handle long runs of banner material etc...

...but make sure he tests it before he goes, as if it's not fitted correctly the little pin can keep coming off and causing the motor to stop
