This machine just arrived in our company. When I just start printing the head is moving but the material is not moving or sometimes it moves only 2 cm and it stops moving so it prints in one place.
Hi Mate, depending on what media you are using try adjusting your vacuum settings. a good test is set it to jog in 50cm steps what you may find is it moves on a little bit then stops and when the vacuum/jog finishes it will shoot out the media a bit if this happens it is the vacuum set to high and so is unable to move the belt because of the suck down? hope this helps if not im not sure what else to suggest..
Start with your setup, list all setting, material used, roll or sheet, size, step size , vac setting on bed.
Did it print well before ( after install ). Could even bee that the media belt is too tight, which can cause printing errors stepping or combined with high vac setting can stop the printer.
