qs 2000 backplane

Hello
We've got vutek qs2000 model, and it prints good quality, unless its broken, which is a lot lately.
Right now service guy told us that a new backplane would be needed (but he really doesnt know) so most likely we will have to buy one.
Does anyone know the pricerange for this piece, or maybe it is possible to buy it from some other source than official provider (in Poland we have only one company responsible for vutek products and they charge as if they are made of solid gold).

Or maybe Vutek backplane is just a regular piece of hardware, that has a symbol and can be bought separately (I presume its custom made, but hey who knows) ?

Well I never liked the QS but Why does the Tech err sorry FSE say you need a new Backplane board ?

Where did this all start.

Back plane is what everything in the carriage plags into, heads, Amplifier board, Pci Interface etc.

I had a machine which Vutek diagnosed to Back plane ( did wa quick shutdown on purges ) which turned out to be a vacum overplow.

Let me know,

I have been servicing Vuteks for the last 10 Years.

back planes can run $1000 to $10000
do you have a service contract ( ESP ), or ink agreement ?
