I'm looking for suggestions for media to try. Specifically banner and paper media. Currently we print primarily on Saturn 12oz. from Avery for our indoor banner projects. This stuff has been terribly inconsistent though. The print quality from one roll to the next can vary a great deal, and we have always had banding problems in certain color ranges. As far as paper medias are concerned, we don't have anything we use with any regularity. I'm just looking for suggestions.
I've tried a few banner materials over the last year from just about everyone. without a doubt, for me, the 14oz BAZ material has won. it is availible thru AmeriBan (now Fellers). has a good quality feel to it, comes packaged well and prints beauitfully.
IMO - its best to get 1 product and learn its characteristics than to keep switching every month....but you have to test the waters first to see whats out there.
I use Ultraflex Normandy Pro 13oz., Ultrabanner 10oz., Artex Canvas, Ultralon 4 & 5...... For me Ultraflex works really well, great imaging, quick drying, just nice all around material. www.ultraflexx.com
