vutekQS2000Error

we are a new user VUTEk and we have 3360 machines and QS2000. Currently, we have a problem on QS2000. At startup, the machine displays "VACUUM PURGE TEST... FAILED. When you click on clear error, it isplays CARRIAGE DRIVE ERROR. What can we do?

always good to start with your setup and make sure no incorrect settings used. It just might not be homed

My friends have bought used vutek and asked me to help but i am new to it.
Printer was stored since 2009 with ink in it - so i think all the heads will be clogged.
Firstly power board and mux board where disconnected and i connected them as i see it should be - maybe someone has a diagram of power board connection or can make pictures on installed unit.
after that the machine starts up but displays communication error on media and carriage drive i have noticed that motors controllers are not powered up - so i manually have to turn on that automatic switch - after that it tried to move head but gave left limit switch error so i checked with multimeter and limit switches are working and i had another power board with different revision- not sure if its in working condition so i installed it and got same media and carriage drive comm error and mux timeout error and it does not recognises left lamp controller.
One more thing that i noticed there are leds on power board for different voltages and minus 12 volt green and 120 volt red are off - where from it should get -12v and 120v
If someone can help or share any documents please help. I have a copy of sevice manual but its without any pictures or diagrams - so it is almost useless.
We dont have vutek service in country.
Sorry for my english - it is not my native language.

Do you have ink installed or at least have the RFID's bypassed. These machines are weird. Just because it throws a specific error does not mean the error is related to the problem. The left lamp issue could very well be mux board related. I've seen it before. If you dont have ink installed your mux board will not work properly.

If ink boxes are 2009 the they have timed out. you may be able to get away with changing the computer time back before they timed out ie. june 1 2008. then restart the computer. filter are probably clogged, ink lines maybe , head are a question.

I know this, but first of all i need to start up printer.

Open questions are -12 volts led and service manual.

Start with a freely moving carriage and contactors that are nor fouled.

Does the carriage move on startup ? Push it off home before.
