Ink delivery is the problem as it runs less nozzels and currently it is banding bad, still the 9000 will be released on time. (the 8000 is the slower budget version, this one to really grow the market)
The new HP ink with less odour works well with some of the more costly european media sold by the Hp network of dealers?
I guess what is the point for HP to sell hardware, unless they could not controll a fair chunk of the media?

Well, i bet it's gonna be a darn great machine, both the 8000 and the 9000. I don't think HP has ever disappointed me regarding machines, tho it did disappoint and WILL disappoint this time too, as far as prices of ink are concerned. The Seiko ink price is sick, and it will get twice as sick when HP produces it.
