yes i saw the 9840 first hand @ the SGIA Show in Las Vegas. It is fast, but it is not very good quality in my opinion. not supported in very many rips yet either which is not good. they had MAJOR problems loading media staight at the show also.
Well I use the vutek 200/600..... I would tell anyone to buy this machine.... Print quality is good speed is good colours are good but When printing on coro, aluminum products the ink will flake off.... you can let them sit for a few days and it will still flake off.... I have tried all different settings on the machine to fix this and with the help of the vutek tec support and it still flakes off.... Lots of head crashes ...if you want the quality you have to run it close to the materials and if they are not flat bang head crash....
Operator view machine sucks.... i wish we got anothe type of flatbed.
