Streaks in solid red an blue prints???

ONYX 7.0-1 upgrade

I did the auto upgrade on Onyx7.0 this AM. Afterwards all prints on the 64S started having extreme time outs in the home position during the print cycle. Went back and removed the upgrade and everything is back to normal. FYI incase anyone else has updated .

'lift lever...' error message

tragedy strikes. i'm 17 feet through a 20-ft banner when the printer stops, beeps, and this message is displayed: Lift Lever & 1 Open Rear Cover i can't get it to resume printing and my job is wasted. anyone know anything about what this is, or how to recover from it? thanks.

I am looking for the a source for the trailing or carriage cables. They were $47 usd on the 2005 retail Seiko pricelist, now most dealers including HP and Oce want over $200 each, which is ridiculous. Does anyone know of a good source in the US?

Hello,
I got ink on the top rollers of my 64S. Tried to clean with windex and a swab, no good. Ink still transfers onto vinyl media.
Any suggestions.
Didn't know about using cap or cleaning fluid maybe to strong????

....just got my 9000 in to replace my seiko...............my all knowing boss thinks that all banding and head strikes are caused by the wrong heater settings for a given material...............so i need to find what heater settings are recommended by the material manufacturers.................
